Sin Wang Chong - New Editor of Review of Education

The British Educational Research Association (BERA) has announced a new editorial team for their Review of Education. The team will consist of five new editors - these are:

  • Sin Wang Chong (St Andrews)
  • Sarah Miller (Queen's University Belfast)
  • Melissa Bond (UCL)
  • Amy Wong (UEA) and
  • Nina Bergdahl (Halmstad University)

Review of Education is an international peer-reviewed medium for the publication of major and substantial articles of interest to researchers in education. Launched in 2013, it has rapidly become a unique and highly regarded publication of extended scholarly works of major national and international interest. 

The new team of editors have released a joint statement:

"We are delighted to be appointed as editors of the Review of Education, a flagship journal of BERA that specialises in publishing major studies and evidence syntheses in educational research, a role that presents both an exciting opportunity and a humbling responsibility. Our aim is to steer the journal alongside BERA and our editorial board, with the goal of solidifying its position as one of the leading international journals in educational research. We express our gratitude to the current editorial team for their exceptional leadership and contributions, which have been instrumental in shaping the journal’s reputation and ensuring the publication of impactful articles that have significantly influenced the field of educational research. As we embark on this journey, we are committed to upholding these high standards and continuing the tradition of publishing major studies and in-depth reviews that are significant, substantial, wide-ranging, and insightful, and we look forward to working with the editorial board, BERA, and the broader research community to further the journal’s mission and impact."
