Exchange partners

The University of St Andrews offers exchange programmes to students who attend one of our partner universities.

As an exchange student, your university will nominate you to attend St Andrews in accordance with our mutual exchange agreement. Some partnerships are subject specific, which means that you must take modules in that subject during your time at St Andrews. However, you may also be permitted to take additional courses in other subjects. Find out more about choosing your modules.

Some of the University’s European partnerships are part of the Erasmus+ programme, a European funding programme which enables students to study abroad in another country between 2 and 12 months.
