Postgraduate study with the School of Modern Languages

The School of Modern Languages offers three Masters degrees designed to enhance your intercultural competence and transferable skills.

The MLitt Comparative Literature allows students to study texts in their original language or through English translations, or a combination of the two. The two-year MA/MLitt German and Comparative Literature is co-delivered with Bonn University.

The MLitt Global Languages, Literatures and Cultures requires language competency in at least one of the languages offered by the School: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Persian, Russian, and Spanish.

The School of Modern Languages also offers supervision for research degrees.
