We offer isotopic and elemental analysis of solid, liquid, and gaseoous materials. Please contact us to discuss the logistics of your project.

We can quantify the isotopic ratios of carbon (¹³C/¹²C), oxygen (¹⁸O/¹⁶O) nitrogen (¹⁵N/¹⁴N) and sulphur (³⁴S/³²S) in a variety of materials. Examples include:
- δ¹³C, δ¹⁵N and δ³⁴S in bulk rocks and organic matter (EA-IRMS)
- δ¹⁵N in silicate mineral separates (offline tube cracker IRMS)
- δ³⁴S in sulphide and sulphate minerals (by EA-IRMS)
- δ¹³C and δ¹⁸O in carbonates and DIC (Gasbench-IRMS)
- δ¹³C in pure CO₂ gas and δ¹⁵N in pure N₂ gas (dual inlet IRMS)
These measurements have applications in forensics, food science, zoology, economic geology, paleontology, geobiology, and environmental science.
We offer analyses of elements in samples down to trace abundances (parts per million).

Sample preparation will include dissolution of solid samples in HF, HNO₃ and HCl in a class-100 clean laboratory followed by analysis using ICP-MS or ICP-OES.

Examples of applications include reconstruction of paleoredox conditions (Mo, V, U), petrological characterization through fluid-immobile elements (Zr, Ti, Sc, REEs), or quantifying the degree and type of chemical alteration in carbonate systems (Sr, Mn, Fe).
