Learn the language of over 300 million people and one of the 6 official languages of the UN. Knowledge of this language and its diverse histories and cultures is becoming ever more important for international relations today.
In addition to gaining a high level of grammatical and oral aptitude, you will also be able to delve into topics focusing on Russia’s literature, film, cultural history and contemporary society.
The School of Modern Languages offers PhD, MPhil, and MSt (Res) research programmes. Research interests in the School cover many aspects of language studies, including:
- identity studies.
