Studios for postgraduates
Studio apartments are located conveniently next to the David Russell Apartments and Fife Park complex. There is also one studio located in Gregory Place and one in Deans Court.
Hall information
Studios have the convenience of being within a residence while having the luxury of private space for a single person or a couple. All studios come as standard with:
- desk and chair
- desk lamp and bulb
- shelving
- bed, mattress and mattress protector
- wardrobe and drawer unit
- waste bin and paper bin
- telephone
- fridge and freezer
- electric oven
- electric hob and induction hob at David Russell Apartments and Fife Park
- kettle
- steam iron and ironing board
- pots and pans (excluding Gregory Place and Deans Court)
- basin, cutlery tray and sink tidy
- dustpan and brush, broom, mop and bucket, and vacuum cleaner
- fliptop bin
- recycling bins.
Number of studios
For postgraduate students the following studios are available:
- 49 self-catered studio apartments with double-size beds in David Russell Apartments
- 1 catered studio apartment with double-size bed in Deans Court
- 20 self-catered studio apartments with double-size beds in Fife Park
- 1 self-catered studio apartment with double-size bed in Gregory Place.
What are the studios like?
Studios for postgraduate students are ideal for couples or individuals who need their own space and private kitchen and bathroom facilities. David Russell Apartments

Support
David Russell Appartments and Fife Park have their own wardennial team, who live within the hall and are trained and available to support students in a range of matters – from advice on academic matters, through to first aid. New students will meet their warden and team of assistant wardens during their moving in weekend.
