Teachers Together Conference

Fostering partnerships between secondary schools, colleges and higher education institutions is something we have long recognised as important. The Teachers Together conference brings together stakeholders from all sectors of education in Scotland to help ensure that relevant, accurate, and timely guidance is given to pupils preparing for university.

With that in mind, we are proud to invite you to attend the Teachers Together Conference 2024.  Our conferences ran for over ten years pre-pandemic, and they were always popular and great events for building positive relationships across all aspects of the education sector. We are excited to bring this back for 2024.

Running over two days on 29 and 30 May 2024, the conference is aimed at teachers and advisors in Scottish state schools. Developing the Young Workforce, Skills Development Scotland Coordinators and our colleagues from the Scottish Colleges are also invited to attend. The conference will be an open and relaxed opportunity to share knowledge and best practice from across the education sector.

The conference also provides a chance for our staff to hear about developments in schools which may influence attainment and achievement levels.

In previous years, our conferences have discussed topics like sustainability, the Curriculum for Excellence, and widening access.

Teachers Together 2024 will focus on contextual admissions and working together as a sector after the pandemic.
