RDM Advisory Group

The RDM Advisory Group brings together researchers from all academic Schools as well as representatives from the Library (Open Research) and IT services.

The advisory group meets 2 to 3 times per year to discuss research data management needs, issues and opportunities with the aim of making recommendations to the Open Research Steering Group (ORSG).

Its meetings are a platform for the wider academic community at the University of St Andrews to voice their opinions and concerns through the advisory group members. This input helps build a better understanding of requirements and progress related to the management of research data.

Ultimately, this will enable the implementation of tailored approaches to policies and support by following a bottom-up approach, which will benefit the University's research community as a whole.

If you have any suggestions or concerns that you think the group should discuss, you can contact the RDM team directly or bring these to the attention of the representative from your School.

If you can't find your School on the list or are interested in taking part contact the RDM team to find out more about how to take part and upcoming meetings.
