Disability History month
In November 2021 we will be publishing a bibliography and hosting a disability history reading group.
In 2019, the School began to mark Disability History Month, which runs from late November to late December each year. PhD students and staff in the School collaborated to produce a series of posters, each dedicated to a historical figure or figures who lived with physical and/or intellectual disabilities or neurodiversity. The posters were displayed in and around teaching rooms and staff offices in South Street, St Katharine’s Lodge, and the Arts Building and were published on our School blog along with additional reading suggestions.
